Canada's Three Founding Nations

Canadian culture  evolved  primarily  from  its three founding  nations   -   the  British,  the French,  and Indigenous  peoples (the original inhabitants of the land).  Actually the correct order is Indigenous, French, English.   Indigenous people were here first, followed by the French and English.

Canada is still struggling with reconciliation between Indigenous and non-Indigenous citizens.  I doubt that the country can ever move forward to a more just and prosperous society until total equality exists for every Canadian.
